Fury-Usyk Fight Rescheduled for August 18th

Tyson Fury Suffers Eye Injury, Postponing Undisputed Heavyweight Clash

The highly anticipated heavyweight bout between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk has been rescheduled for August 18th due to an injury sustained by Fury. The fight, originally set for August 13th, was postponed after Fury suffered a cut above his eye in training.

The injury occurred during a sparring session when Fury received a blow from his training partner. The cut required stitches and forced Fury to rest and recover. As a result, the fight had to be pushed back to allow Fury to heal and prepare properly.

Fury Remains Confident Despite Injury

Despite the setback, Fury remains confident that he will be ready to face Usyk on August 18th. The British boxer has been training diligently and is determined to become the undisputed heavyweight champion.

"I'm disappointed to have the fight postponed, but I'm focused on getting back in the ring and winning," Fury said. "Usyk is a great champion, but I believe I have the skills and experience to beat him."

Usyk Ready to Defend His Titles

Usyk, the current WBA, WBO, and IBF heavyweight champion, is also eager to get back in the ring. The Ukrainian boxer has a perfect professional record of 22-0 and is looking to add Fury's WBC title to his collection.

"I've been waiting for this fight for a long time," Usyk said. "I'm confident in my abilities, and I'm ready to prove that I'm the best heavyweight in the world."

Fight of the Century

The Fury-Usyk fight is expected to be one of the biggest boxing events of the year. It is the first time in nearly 25 years that two undefeated heavyweights will face off for the undisputed championship.
